President Trump is attacking former FBI Director James Comey again, a day after the Justice Department charged Comey for allegedly making a threat against Trump in an Instagram photo of seashells. The charges stem from a post where seashells were arranged to spell "80-X-47"—"86" being slang for "remove" and "47" referencing Trump as the 47th president. Trump said of the post, "Because of Comey's post. Probably, I don't know. You know, based on what I'm seeing out there, yeah, they—the people like Comey have created tremendous danger, I think, for politicians and others." This is the second indictment against Comey since Trump returned to office; the first, for alleged false statements and obstruction, was thrown out by a judge.

Supreme Court Weakens Voting Rights Act Again

The Supreme Court struck down a majority-Black congressional district in Louisiana in a 6-3 ruling along partisan lines. The conservative majority's decision is the latest in a series of rulings chipping away at the Voting Rights Act. It opens the door for more redistricting efforts across the country that could aid Republican efforts to retain control of the House.
