PodSized vs Podwise
Both summarize podcasts with AI. Podwise built for note-takers; PodSized built for listeners. Here's how to pick.
The 30-second answer
Pick Podwise if you specifically want a web-based mind-map view of every episode and you don't need a native mobile app or audio summaries.
Pick PodSized if you want any of: audio recaps you can listen to, native iOS and Android apps, cross-episode AI search (Ask PodSized), or one-tap Notion/Obsidian/Readwise export.
Pricing at a glance
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly | Free tier |
|---|---|---|---|
| PodSized Premium | $4.99/mo | $49.99/yr | 5 AI summaries/month + browse 16,500+ summaries free |
| Podwise | $9.90/mo | ~$59/yr | Limited free credits |
PodSized is roughly half Podwise's monthly price ($4.99 vs $9.90). The annual plans are closer ($49.99 vs ~$59), so if you'd only ever pay yearly and you want mind maps, Podwise's premium is small — the bigger differences are audio and mobile.

The honest take
Podwise is a great web-first tool if you specifically want mind-map visualizations — its mind maps are genuinely strong, and its native PKM integrations are mature. PodSized used to be weaker on PKM workflows, but every summary now ends with a one-tap "Keep these notes" card that exports to Notion, Obsidian, and Readwise. The gap Podwise can't close from the browser: no native mobile apps and no audio.
PodSized treats podcasts more like radio you missed. The job-to-be-done is "tell me what they talked about" and "let me listen to that on the way to work." If you've ever told yourself "I'll read this Notion summary later" and never did, audio summaries on PodSized are designed for that exact failure mode.
