5 min readThe autumn wind blows sharp around a grey stone castle, and an old nurse warns a young maiden named Janet that no one dares venture near the enchanted moorland where the elfin knight Tam Lin rides. "One glimpse of the elfin knight would be worth the rarest gem I have," Janet laughs. This moment captures the spirit of this collection of four gentle Halloween tales from Sleep Cove, narrated by Christopher Fitton. None of these stories are meant to frighten. They are cozy, slightly spooky bedtime narratives designed to help listeners drift off to sleep, each one built around kindness, courage, and the magic that happens when ordinary people encounter the supernatural on Halloween night.

Anton refuses at first—he fears losing his way home through the dark forest—but promises to make a private Halloween celebration for her instead.
