Getting In The Weird

The episode opens with the party—Jack the leprechaun, Tevin the memory-reconstructing mechanism, and Santos the former gate guard turned cleric-fighter—already deep in trouble. They've been shrunk and swallowed by a glassy blue statue with "tummy troubles," and now they're floating inside its abdomen, surrounded by hexagonal structures pulsing with energy. At the bottom of this strange digestive chamber, a large opalescent jellyfish with electrified tentacles is causing chaos, breaking down the organized structures around it. The jellyfish moves toward them, and initiative is rolled.

The Jellyfish Fight and Its Aftermath

Jack opens with an arrow that misses badly—blaming the weirdness of fighting while floating. Santos uses an action surge to cast bless and activate emboldening bond on the party, a double-buff that the director notes he's never seen before. Tevin tries sharpshooter shots against a wall for stability but only lands minimal damage. The jellyfish retaliates, shocking Santos with a combined 19 bludgeoning and lightning damage, which triggers his rage.
