The group immediately faces a practical and ethical dilemma: what should they do with Ilos' body and the debris from her orbital? Lenore's detect magic reveals the debris pile contains broken machinery with residual enchantment magic, while Ilos' body itself is now mundane, only faint celestial energy fading from the flower. The party debates options. Burying her outside risks discovery by others who might harness her power. Taking her back to Carmina in the city of Carmarth feels disrespectful and dangerous—she might use Ilos for her own ends. Santos suggests burying her inside the cave, sealing it as a tomb with a skylight so the moon can always shine on her. The party agrees, and they dig a shallow grave in a spot where moonlight falls directly onto the ground. As they lay her to rest, Santos' eyes glow
