A 35-year-old man named Daejon Love convinced dozens of women he was a wide receiver for the San Francisco 49ers, a Swiss real estate heir, and a master investor. Over four years, he and his 18-year-old co-conspirator, Taylor Jamie Chan, extracted $1.3 million from at least 26 victims across multiple states. In one video, he pretended to sign a contract while a friend narrated; in another, he claimed he had “traded himself” to the Los Angeles Rams and later to the Denver Broncos.
