Interrogation Of Girlfriend & Killer McKayla Tracy - Cheating Leads to Murder

On the night of March 4, 2016, McKayla Tracy called her friends crying. She had just caught her boyfriend, Dalton, having sex with another woman named Sarah in their shared bed. The bedroom door was deadbolted. She heard the unmistakable sound of him scrambling off the other woman. Heartbroken and wanting to escape, she asked her friends to come pick her up. What she says she did not ask for was what happened next: a beating that left Dalton bleeding on his hands and knees, gasping for air. By the time the night was over, Dalton was dead.

The Discovery and the Call

The trouble started earlier that afternoon. McKayla had invited Sarah, a new friend she had met through Dalton’s friend Jameson, over for a girls’ night. They watched movies and did makeup. But earlier that day, McKayla had seen Dalton messaging other women on Facebook. She was hurt but decided to push it aside. “I wanted to have a good night,” she told investigators. “I’m not gonna let him ruin our girl’s night.”
