Full Case Breakdown In The Curious Case of David Bogdanov

On October 2, 2019, David Bogdanov sat across from a detective in a Vancouver, Washington police station and described the last time he saw Nikki Kuhnhausen alive. He told police he had met her by chance in the early hours of June 4, 2019, while heading downtown with his brothers. He offered her his jacket because it was cold, exchanged Snapchat info, and later picked her up to retrieve the coat. But then, according to David, something strange happened: she told him she was not a woman. He said he was "disturbed" and asked her to get out of his van. That, he insisted, was the end of it. The detective, however, had phone records showing calls to adult escort ads in the middle of the night, a trip east past Larch Mountain that David had never mentioned, and a timeline that did not match his story. A year and a half later, David was arrested for murder.
