The Rev. Billy Cerveny is an Episcopal priest, writer, and musician based in Jacksonville, Florida. A graduate of Trinity College and Covenant Theological Seminary, he serves at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, where he leads The River, a contemporary worship service that blends the ancient traditions of the Episcopal Church with modern expressions of worship (5 PM, Sundays at http://www.smjax.org). Before entering ministry, Rev. Cerveny worked as a journalist, author, and songwriter, touring internationally and releasing several studio albums. Cerveny is also the founder and Executive Director of Redbird Ministries, a nonprofit whose mission is to reach out to the world and back into the church with the hope and healing of the gospel.
