The Startup Ideas Podcast
Greg Eisenberg, founder of LCA and co-founder of the holding company Teal Checkout, has been running businesses for 14 years. He works every day, including weekends, but rarely more than a few hours. His secret is not a productivity system — it's a deliberate refusal to let himself get close to burnout in the first place.
"I'm very conscious about the burnout, and I just don't get too close to the sun," he says.

The non-system system
Greg works every day, including weekends. But he works very little. His average day: wake up early, identify three things he needs to do, do them by 2 PM, and stop. That is the entire system.
"I think people who overoptimize on this whole productivity system stuff take it too far," he says. "You inherently know that there's two or three things that you need to do. Just do the thing."
