The Path to the Teams and the Mindset That Got Him Through

Magnavice wanted to be a SEAL since age 10, after seeing First Blood in 1982. His father—a Vietnam vet and submariner—took him to see the R-rated movie. "That image of coming out of the water, all kitted up—when you're impressionable at that age, it leaves a big mark on your brain."
