The Shotgun That Gives You Exactly What You Need | SCP-7553

In a drab Foundation parking lot, two D-class personnel named Gainer and Rockford are testing a confiscated shotgun that makes a quacking noise and fires a hundred rubber duckies in various costumes—cowboy duckies, astronaut duckies, superhero duckies. Gainer is delighted; Rockford is nervous. The shotgun, designated SCP-7553, is supposed to dispense whatever is needed. Gainer fires it at the sky, hoping for something dramatic. Nothing happens. Then the clouds part, and an alien spaceship descends directly toward them.

The Foundation site seals itself into an impenetrable fortress, locking the two men outside. Gainer demands the shotgun, but Rockford refuses. As the ship lands, crushing the parking lot, Rockford trips and accidentally fires the weapon. Two massive power loaders—the kind from the movie Aliens—explode from the barrel. Gainer climbs into one and disappears into the treeline. Rockford is left alone, facing the alien vessel, with the shotgun still in his hand.
