The Cave, the Kingdom, and the Love Encounter

Mike Brewer, a deliverance minister with 25 years of experience, walked into a cave in Haiti where voodoo priests were butchering a freshly sacrificed cow on an altar. He was terrified. He told his team beforehand that if God didn't show up the way they hoped, they might die. But inside that cave, something shifted: two women in their "devil clothes" took them off and said they wanted Jesus, a priest tried to sell him the conversion of everyone present for $10,000, and when Brewer rebuked the control, the priests backed against the wall and yielded the room. Brewer jumped onto the cow carcass and preached the gospel. Every person in that room came to Jesus except the pinned priests. Later that night at a crusade, a blind woman who had been blind for over a decade suddenly regained her sight. The mountain was renamed Mount Ebenezer. The cave was eventually stripped of its altars, and churches now hold worship services inside it.

That story sits at the center of a much larger framework Brewer has developed over decades of deliverance ministry — a framework built on distinctions between kinds of demons, the structure of demonic kingdoms, the nature of curses, and a personal transformation that changed how he understands the Father.
