It's a fun August Day of news around the Association. First, Kevin Garnett's long-awaited (and for a variety of reasons, long overdue) Minnesota Timberwolves jersey retirement day has been set, appropriately against the visiting Boston Celtics, the team KG left Minneapolis for in order to finally break through and win a title. But by his own admission, the greatest T-Wolf in franchise history never lost his love for his former squad (if not his former squad owner), so it's awesome to see an all-time NBA great (much less Minny icon) properly celebrated.
