Multiverse Reforged Precon Upgrade Guide

Jace, the Multiverse Architect costs five mana and enters with four loyalty. At the beginning of combat on each opponent's turn, that opponent may pay two mana. If they don't, their creatures can't attack any Jaces you control that turn. His plus-one draws two cards and puts a card from your hand on the bottom of your library. His minus-three exiles another target planeswalker or creature you control, then reveals cards from the top of your library until you reveal a creature or planeswalker card, puts that card onto the battlefield, and puts the rest on the bottom in random order. He can be your commander.

This is a polymorph deck. You make a token, cast Jace, minus him immediately, and flip a big threat into play ahead of schedule. The precon comes with 19 threats (six-plus-mana creatures and planeswalkers), 20 token-makers, 13 ramp pieces, nine mass disruption spells, and only six pieces of targeted removal. The average mana value is 4.05, which is high even for a precon. The deck wants to do one explosive thing per turn and eliminate players one at a time, but it lacks ways to survive the early game and recover if your single big threat gets answered.
