Malee describes his younger self as "obsessed" rather than merely motivated. Winning Young Entrepreneur of the Year was a seven-year fixation after he met a previous winner named Kowzer, watched him press a button on his Mercedes to lift the boot, and thought, "I so badly want to be you." When Malee finally won the award at 25, he walked off stage expecting the world to change. "I thought it was going to be phenomenal. It wasn't. And it really did throw me into a hole."
