When asked whether she had married her brother, Representative Ilhan Omar answered, “Not to my knowledge.” Ben Shapiro argues that this evasive response encapsulates a much larger pattern: a political class that has lied its way into the country, lied its way into office, and now works to undermine the United States from within. The episode is a sustained argument that the American left has formed a “red-green alliance” between radical progressives and Islamist activists, and that this alliance is enabled by an immigration system that imports people who do not share American values.

The core allegation is that Omar entered the United States using a false surname—Omar instead of her father’s actual surname, Elmi—to claim refugee status through a different family. Once in the U.S., she allegedly manipulated her birth year (changing it from 1981 to 1982) to remain a minor and gain citizenship through her father’s naturalization.

Show Notes

Ilhan Omar is asked if she married her brother, and her answer is... disquieting; Abdul El-Sayed pretends that your questions about his support for radical Islam and terrorism are actually just Islamophobia; and France pretends that mass Muslim migration has nothing to do with societal breakdown.
