The Execution Layer: How H Company Is Making Enterprise Software Work Without Replacing It

When Gauthier Klaw talks about deploying AI in the enterprise, he starts with a blunt observation: most companies are not going to rip out their legacy systems. "It's actually not a legacy," he says. "It's a strategic asset." The problem is that humans spend 70 to 80 percent of their time in front of software—clicking, copying, pasting, navigating between systems that don't talk to each other. Klaw spent a decade at Palantir watching this play out, and when he became CEO of H Company in mid-2025, he built the company around a different premise: instead of forcing companies to rebuild their software stacks for AI, build AI that can use the software stacks as they are.

Computer Use: The Third Wave of Enterprise AI

Klaw describes three waves of AI in the enterprise. The first was LLMs that answer questions and summarize documents—useful, but hard to measure real ROI because it is just question-and-answer. The second wave connected LLMs to APIs, letting them act on systems. But that required every system to have an API, which most enterprise software does not, especially the older systems that handle core operations like wire transfers in banks or inventory management in manufacturing.

“The bottleneck isn’t really having ideas; the bottleneck is execution,” Gautier Cloix, CEO of H Company, tells Bloomberg Intelligence Senior Technology Analyst Anurag Rana. “What we do is basically [make] execution infinite so we can focus on intention and ideas and strategy.” In this episode of Tech Disruptors, the pair discuss how computer-use agents can operate enterprise software through existing user interfaces, enabling companies to automate workflows without first rebuilding, migrating or integrating their technology stacks. Cloix also explains why H Company combines specialized, lower-cost models with forward-deployed engineers to target measurable ROI, turning legacy software into an asset and creating an execution layer across disconnected enterprise systems.
