Apple has resolved its long-running dispute with the European Commission over App Store business terms, unveiling a new fee structure that takes effect October 1st. Apple's New EU App Store Terms

Apple announced a single set of business terms for all developers distributing apps in the European Union, replacing the previous system that included an initial acquisition fee, a store services fee, and a €0.50 per-download core technology fee for apps exceeding one million annual installs. Under the new structure effective October 1st, Apple will charge a 26% commission for App Store apps using Apple's in-app purchase system, 20% for developers using alternative payment providers, and 15% for purchases that link out of the app. Developers in the App Store Small Business Program, Mini Apps Partner Program, or Video Partner Program will receive reduced rates.
