The comparison to TikTok is instructive. TikTok is often described as the dominant force in youth attention. But Roblox users spend double the time on Roblox that they spend on TikTok. And TikTok itself has become a discovery engine for Roblox content. Kids watch short videos of other people playing Roblox games, then go play those games themselves. The two platforms are not really competitors; TikTok feeds Roblox.
