The product is a single, boring function

Bank Statement Converter solves a narrow, painful problem. Accountants, bookkeepers, and small business owners regularly receive bank statements as PDFs—often scanned images rather than machine-readable text. Manually re-entering those numbers into spreadsheets is tedious and error-prone. The tool extracts the data and formats it. That is the entire product. There is no dashboard, no analytics, no collaboration features. The founder deliberately kept the scope tiny because the problem itself is tiny but recurring. "It's not a complicated product," he said. "It does one thing and does it well." This narrowness also means support is minimal. Users either get their converted file or they do not, and when they do not, the issue is usually a poorly scanned PDF that no tool could parse anyway.
