The Saturday launch that worked

The product was a digital template for building a "second brain" in Notion — a structured system for organizing notes, tasks, and projects. The founder had been using a personal version for himself and noticed friends kept asking for copies. Rather than overbuilding, he spent a single Saturday putting together a Webflow landing page with a Trello-style layout, wrote some copy, and launched on Product Hunt.

The decision to launch fast and minimal was intentional. He had no audience, no email list, and no following. His reasoning: if the product flopped, he'd lose a weekend. If it worked, he'd have something to iterate on. The risk was capped at a few hours of work and a $20 domain name.
