Why your brain is the wrong tool for idea generation

The core psychological insight driving the framework is that humans are terrible at generating business ideas because of ego, bias, and overthinking. When you try to think of a good idea from scratch, your brain immediately starts filtering: "Is this good enough? Will people laugh at this? Has someone already done this?" That self-censorship kills promising directions before they get explored. The gold mining framework treats AI as a way to bypass that internal editor. Instead of trying to be creative on demand, you feed the model constraints and let it generate volume. The human role shifts from creator to curator—you evaluate and refine rather than originate.
