A luxury house in a new development shakes violently in a normal breeze. The bushes jiggle. Then the neighbor's house collapses. Then this one starts to go too. The wind isn't even blowing that hard — no hurricane, no tornado. "I've seen children build Lego houses that are sturdier than that multi-million dollar house right there," the host says. That house, along with a staircase that looks like it belongs in a Roblox game, a door with a chunk cut out to clear a toilet, and a fan switch mounted on the ceiling next to the spinning blades, are the subject of this episode's tour through real-world design failures.

Structural and Architectural Disasters

The most dramatic failures are structural. The host walks through a viral video of a brand-new luxury home that appears solid from the outside but is essentially a paper shell. The wind alone causes the entire structure to shake and crumble. The host points out that new houses often have more problems than old ones because nobody has lived in them yet to discover the flaws. During an inspection of another new multi-million-dollar build, the host finds water leaking through the primary bathroom shower, outdoor pillars that crumble with the force of an Oreo cookie, and stairs that wobble.
