Scary Stories - Werewolf

Troy is a young boy who knows the rules. On nights when "Daddy isn't feeling well," he stays in his room with the door shut tight while his mother leads his father out to the shed before sunset. Most nights, she comes back upstairs, lies beside Troy, and tells him everything will be okay. But this night is different. Troy can hear it in her voice—his mother is afraid for the first time in his life.

The Hunt Begins

The episode follows Troy through a single terrifying night that dismantles everything he thought he understood about his family. His mother wakes him in a frantic whisper, carrying him through the dark house toward escape. But they never make it out. In the kitchen, Troy sees something reflected in the darkened television screen: a shape darker than shadows, with a frame too wide for the doorway. When it steps into the moonlight, Troy sees teeth, yellow eyes like "putrid embers," and black hair that burns on its skin "like shadowy fire."

The creature cuts his mother's back open with a single swipe. She keeps running, keeps carrying him, but Troy sees the monster stalking them slowly on all four limbs, savoring the hunt. And then he notices something impossible in its face—something he recognizes. "Daddy," Troy breathes.
