Justin Timberlake's Beatboxing Apology, Chris Brown's Baby Mama Drama, and the Finale of Ultimate Girls Trip

The hosts kicked off this episode with a surprising piece of internet nostalgia: a creator named Hannah Young made a video calling out Justin Timberlake's relentless early-2000s beatboxing, and Timberlake himself showed up in the comments to apologize. "I often look back on that time as well," he wrote. "I still haven't come up with any answers. I don't know how to apologize enough for whatever those ambitions were. Too many boots, too many cats. I hope you can forgive me." The hosts had to explain to each other that "boots and cats" is beatboxing terminology — the basic rhythm sounds — which went over one host's head entirely. This led to a longer reflection on how pop culture from the early 2000s that felt cool at the time now looks cringey, from the beatboxing to Julia Stiles' stiff dancing in Save the Last Dance. The same creator, Hannah Young, has also been tracking down the original models from the 1990s board game Dream Phone and updating fans on where they are now — 11 of the 24 men have been found.
