The exchange catches fire fast. A street apologist at a London speaker's corner tells a Christian woman that the Gospels were anonymous for two centuries until Irenaeus and other Church Fathers assigned the names Mark, Matthew, Luke, and John to give them credibility. Luke never met Jesus. The woman is flustered. The man presses: "You have a problem."
But the guest on Last Call—a Catholic apologist who runs GodLogic—is watching the clip from a studio, and he is not flustered. "No, no, you have a problem," he says. The entire early church is unanimous on the authorship of the Gospels. Luke tells you in his opening verses that he is compiling eyewitness testimony. Mark is writing at Peter's dictation. Matthew and John were apostles. "What are you on about, bro?"
The episode is built around exactly this kind of encounter. The host, Matt Fradd, plays a series of pro-Muslim TikTok clips—some from street apologists, some from white converts, some from ex-Muslim Christians—and the guest responds in real time, showing how standard Islamic objections to Christian theology can be answered with precision and force.
The Knowledge of the Hour
