A Near-Death Experience and Enhanced Abilities

McCarty describes a near-death experience that dramatically amplified her existing abilities. She says she walked away from her body, went through what she calls a portal, and met her ancestors on their side. They told her she had to go back, and it was Billy the Kid who approached her first, saying, "Your time is not yet here. Wait for me there until I return for you." After the experience, she says she was "between worlds" for about two to three weeks. The main change was clarity: she could hear spirits as clearly as she hears a living person, and she sees them the same way. She has never lost that ability.
