The Pentagon also reported the death of a third U.S. service member and minor injuries to a second from unexploded ordnance from a downed Iranian drone. The U.S. has been bombarding Iran for over a week, hitting bridges and infrastructure in addition to purely military targets. A shaky ceasefire had largely held since April.
