Instead, it became a spectacle that got security crews fired and left participants wondering how something so openly gangster could happen under Apple's roof. As one participant put it, "It's been a long time since you saw something that gangster go on under an event that was put on by one of the biggest corporations in the world."

The event itself was chaotic from the start. The Game chugged a bottle of tequila on stage, and by the end, participants were "battling against the alcohol within their own bodies." The summit brought together rival factions under one roof, with tensions simmering throughout. One participant who was supposed to attend with his Chevy ended up missing it entirely when his radiator hose blew at midnight, forcing him to scramble for a replacement vehicle that never arrived. Watching from home, he felt relieved he hadn't attended: "When I actually watched it and I saw how loose everybody was being, I was kinda glad that I didn't go."
