Dookie Wild claims he moved 138 loads of drugs without ever getting caught — not because he was lucky, but because he had a formula. "Only way I stopped my behavior, and it was gonna get me messed up," he says. The distinction matters to him: he wasn't reckless. He was systematic. The interruption to his run came not from law enforcement but from his own choices, and eventually from the federal prison system for a gun charge tied to his violent history.

From Nothing to the Game

Dookie grew up in Birmingham, Alabama, in what he describes as "a scrub every day" — stealing meals, turning utilities back on illegally, raised by a single mother who had him at 15. "It's basically like I was a man, but wasn't I my son, brother, man?" he says. "Anything a man ain't gonna do or slack up on, I had to do it." He was 10 years old when he "jumped off the porch." Older guys in the neighborhood put dope in his hands because he looked young and could move without suspicion. At 13, a police officer once gave him a ride in the rain — while he was carrying a package of drugs. He was paid $50 per run but quickly figured out how to flip the product himself, saving money until he could buy his own supply.
