BofA Spends Big on GLP-1s & AI Invents a Virus Not Found in Nature For First Time

The GLP-1 Coverage Dilemma

Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan disclosed this week that the company spends roughly $250 million on GLP-1 drugs for employees, accounting for about 13% of the bank's total $2 billion healthcare budget. "We see a great impact on the employees," Moynihan said in a CNBC interview, adding that the company has set up health coaching to help employees on the drugs monitor their progress. He framed the expense as "the right thing to do" rather than a strict ROI calculation.
