"We Have a BIG Book Announcement!" — Money Guy Show

The Money Guy Show's Brian Preston and Bo Hansen announced the paperback release of Millionaire Mission, which originally came out in May 2024 and became an instant New York Times bestseller. The paperback, releasing November 10th, is not simply a reprint — it's a substantially updated version with new tax numbers, revised case studies, and additional material on the psychology of financial decision-making. Why a paperback update matters

Preston was candid about his initial insecurity writing the book: "You don't know if anybody's gonna read it." But the audience showed up, and the book's success gave him a rare second chance. "The book is never ever done, but they eventually just rip it out of your hands and say, 'Okay, we're going to go take this to publish.'" The paperback let him fix what nagged him.

The most concrete updates are numerical. In 2024, the 401(k) salary deferral limit was $23,000; now it's $24,500. IRAs went from $7,000 to $7,500. HSA and SIMPLE IRA limits also increased. Preston worried that a reader encountering "you can put $7,000 in an IRA" might dismiss the book as outdated. "We don't want them to say, 'Oh, this book was written a long time ago. It must not apply.'"
