I Read Scary Reddit Stories for THREE HOURS While Playing Minecraft

The host reads five long-form horror stories from Reddit's r/nosleep and r/scarystories subreddits while playing Minecraft in the background, specifically searching for a lush caves biome to capture axolotls. The episode is framed as a casual gaming session, but the stories themselves form the substance of the content.

The Devil's Confession

The first story follows a man who meets a disheveled young woman named Lucy at a London bar. She claims to be Lucifer, the devil, and tells him a revisionist version of the fall from grace. In her telling, God asked her to tempt Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden to test whether they had free will — but God himself was too afraid to give them genuine autonomy. When Lucy developed free will herself through the act of temptation, God cast her out. She fell not to hell but to Earth, which she insists is hell. Humanity, she argues, squanders its free will by following mindless leaders and making terrible choices. Reincarnation keeps souls trapped in this earthly hell forever, cycling between brief moments of comfort and long stretches of suffering. She tells the narrator she has told this story to five other people that night, all of whom responded by hurting her. The story ends with the narrator believing her.
