In the Skyborne Order palace on the shard of Zenith, a group of adventurers—Fennel, Mot, Udos, Chenu, and Takma—are summoned before the order's leader, Rojana. She has heard they are the ones experiencing "fractal dreams," visions of a strange, geometric light temple they encountered by accident on the shard of Banyan. Rojana reveals an ancient Skyborne text that describes a "Fractal Temple" capable of granting immense power and peace to those who channel Chroma. The passage was considered metaphorical until the party's experience proved it literal. The text suggests the temple appears only through pure "communion and connection" among a conclave, something no group has achieved since the first Skyborne. The party already did it once, so Rojana asks them to find the next temple, believed to be somewhere on Zenith.
