Only 10 to 15 percent requires highly skilled electricians for terminations and splicing. That means most of the workforce can be trained locally. The real leverage comes from project size itself. A team that once managed a 20-megawatt project can now manage a 300-megawatt project with only modest additions to management. “The megawatts are growing, but the people that are managing them are not growing,” Hirschman says. This operational leverage means revenue can scale faster than headcount.
