The UVU Independent Review into Charlie Kirk’s death contains a detail that, if you read closely, creates an impossible contradiction. Two key witnesses—Frank Turek and Brian Harpel—gave detailed accounts of what happened after Kirk was shot. One says he performed CPR in the vehicle; the other says no CPR happened in the car but that he performed it at the hospital. Neither of them mentions the fire captain who, according to the review itself, met Kirk’s SUV at the hospital and began performing CPR. Two people who were present, both of whom have spoken at length about the sequence of events, somehow forgot a public official who was actively resuscitating the victim. Candace Owens argues that this is not a memory lapse. It is a structural hole in the story—and the review’s refusal to name that fire captain makes the hole worth investigating.
