S2E17 - Review of Terrifier & discussing HHN 35 Originals Week, Hellraiser, & the latest HNN Spec Map!

The Terrifier house at Halloween Horror Nights 35 was the main course of this episode, and the hosts, JB and Brownie, made it clear from the start that they are not fans of the films. Brownie called the movies "gross" and "not scary," and JB said he would "never see them." Yet, as a house, they acknowledged it was a different game. The Hellraiser Announcement and the Originals Lineup

The episode opened with the confirmation of a Hellraiser house, based on the original trilogy. Brownie recalled being creeped out as a child by the VHS cover in video stores, and JB noted the property is "very abstract surreal horror," which could make for a "weird artsy" house. They agreed it will likely land better than a pure original because it has a recognizable visual reference point, even for those who haven't seen the films. The hosts also covered the remaining original houses announced during "Originals Week": Madlands (warring cannibal factions), Cage Cannibals, Cyber Goria (a futuristic cyborg house), and Invasion: Alien Abduction. Brownie was most excited about Invasion, highlighting a press interview where creative director Charles Gray described new effects: vibrating floors to simulate a ship, lights to suggest a massive craft outside, and actors be
