In a recent stream, Asmongold reacted to clips of fellow streamer Hasan "HasanAbi" Piker doxing a random viewer live on stream and threatening them with a firearm. The incident began when Hasan, after reading a comment from a user named "Bong Lord," launched into a tirade, attempting to find the user's personal information, posting it on stream, and saying, "Let's do a fucking crusade" against the viewer. Asmongold's reaction was immediate: "What? Why would you do that?" He called it a "tactical error," noting that openly stating intent to use lethal force undermines any future self-defense argument in court and makes the speaker look worse.

The core of Asmongold's critique is not just about the specific incident, but about what it reveals about Twitch's enforcement of its own rules. He points out that Hasan's behavior — doxing, threatening violence, and weaponizing his audience — is a clear violation of Twitch's community guidelines, which prohibit "inciting viewers to target another person with abuse" and "organizing or participating in hostile raids." Yet, Asmongold notes, Hasan has faced no suspension for this behavior. Meanwhile, other streamers have been punished for far less. He cites the example of Erobb, who received a 30-day suspension for telling someone he would fight them at TwitchCon, and TechTone, who was suspended for two weeks for calling a streamer "fat."
