"To the friends in the West.." | Asmongold TV

A Pakistani speaker delivers a direct, impassioned message to Western audiences: stop conflating India and Pakistan. "India and Pakistan are not the same," he says. "Don't make that mistake because it is inconvenient for you to think about us properly." The host, Asmongold, reacts in real time by fact-checking the speaker's claims against search results, and what emerges is a layered conversation about state identity, terrorism, democracy, and how propaganda shapes what outsiders believe.

The core distinction: democracy versus state-sponsored terrorism

The speaker's central argument is that India and Pakistan are fundamentally different kinds of countries, and that Westerners collapse them into a single "subcontinent" category out of convenience. India, he says, "is the largest democracy in the world" and has "safely protected the culture of Hindus, of Sikhs, of Muslims, of Jains, of Zoroastrians, of Buddhists, of Jews, of Christians for as long as time." Pakistan, by contrast, is "a known harbor to terrorists like Osama bin Laden, Sajid Meh, Azhar."
