The problem with Reddit's enforcement gap

Asmongold's central argument is not that the internet should be sanitized of all criticism, but that Reddit has a specific and consequential hypocrisy. The platform maintains rules against "witch hunting" — coordinated campaigns to harass or damage a person's reputation — yet it allows entire subreddits whose explicit purpose is to do exactly that. "How is it that you have subreddits that are dedicated to just posting negative content about a person constantly, right? And even lying about them," he asks. "Why do you have this rule and you don't apply the rule?"
