"They Did What They Tried to Do Flawlessly"

On the evening before this episode, the United States military carried out massive precision strikes on three key Iranian nuclear facilities—Fordo, Natanz, and Esfahan. President Trump announced the operation in a four-minute speech that surprised the host, Asmongold, who had expected a longer, more self-congratulatory address. Instead, Trump was direct: the strikes were "a spectacular military success," the facilities were "completely and totally obliterated," and Iran must now "make peace." If they do not, he warned, future attacks "will be far greater and a lot easier."

The host's reaction was measured. He noted that Trump "was actually pretty reasonable" and didn't "talk more shit" than expected. The operation appeared to have been coordinated with Israel—Asmongold called it obvious—and Trump thanked Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu, saying they "worked as a team like perhaps no team has ever worked before." The host also pointed out something unusual: nothing leaked. "For like they did accomplish what they were trying to do flawlessly," he said. "You could say maybe it didn't work, right? But like what they tried to do, they did."
