The show is deliberately rough around the edges. Asmongold opens by turning off his air conditioning to eliminate background noise, acknowledging that this is a dry run. The structure is minimal: he plays trailers one after another, reacts in real time, and fields commentary from his co-hosts and chat. There is no rating system, no polished script, and no pre-selected winners. The plan is to run Roach Review once a month for about an hour to an hour and a half, with a website (roachcouncil.com) and a Discord server for submitting games and applying to be a judge. The emphasis is on "step one, do the fucking show" rather than over-planning. Asmongold is candid about the need to improve audio equalization and scope, but the pilot's value is in proving the concept exists at all.
