The structural failure: pacing and wasted time

Asmongold's primary critique is that the showcase had no sense of pacing or editorial judgment. He points out that the most exciting game, The Blood of Dawnwalker, was buried in the middle of the show rather than saved for the finale. "From a structural standpoint, it was bad because you should have saved the game that was the most exciting for the end," he says. The result was a show that ended on a whimper rather than a crescendo, leaving the audience with a flat impression.
