He got what he fucking deserved

Jack Doherty, a 22-year-old YouTuber, was arrested in Miami Beach at 3 a.m. on November 15th, 2025, after repeatedly ignoring police warnings to stop recording and causing a disturbance in the middle of Washington Avenue. The body cam footage, which Doherty himself accidentally helped preserve by continuing to record after being told not to, became the centerpiece of Asmongold's reaction stream. Asmongold's response throughout the footage is not just schadenfreude—it's a pointed commentary on a specific type of content creator who treats real-world confrontation as a game, and who believes that being a streamer exempts them from consequences.

The pattern of nuisance streaming

Asmongold frames the arrest as an inevitable outcome of a broader problem he calls "nuisance streaming." He points out that every single time this kind of content creation escalates, it eventually becomes a crime. "It's only a matter of time," he says, referring to a pattern he has observed repeatedly: streamers who deliberately antagonize strangers, security guards, or police officers for views, believing they can always talk their way out of trouble or turn the confrontation into more content.
