Criminal migrants arrive at Alligator Alcatraz | Asmongold TV

When a reporter on the ground near the Everglades described a detention facility as "Alligator Alcatraz," it wasn't a joke — it was the official sign going up outside the gate. The facility, a hastily assembled compound of tents and trailers along an aging airstrip, is now operational and expecting its first arrivals. The segment on Asmongold TV treated the news as both a serious policy development and a spectacle, moving between the reporting of concrete facts and the host's characteristic dark humor about turning the site into a "gator gulag" for content.

The facility and its costs

The detention center, formally a temporary facility run by the Florida Division of Emergency Management, is located deep in the Everglades near Ochapi. Video footage showed pickup trucks and big rigs delivering water tanks and fencing materials throughout the morning, and by the afternoon, a locked fence enclosed white vans. A spokesperson confirmed that the first group had arrived, though it was unclear whether detainees were inside those vans.
