MyStreet Season 1 Episode 9

"Your new hair era is here." That's the kind of tagline you'd hear in a Sephora ad, but in this episode of MyStreet, it's the least of the characters' problems. After a chaotic dream-within-a-dream sequence that leaves Kawaii-Chan screaming and collapsing, the gang gathers for a party at Aphmau's house that quickly devolves into a tangled web of grudges, secrets, and a surprisingly elaborate scheme involving a dog and a sprig of mistletoe.

The Party and Its Underlying Tensions

The episode opens with Aphmau waking up from a disorienting dream—only to find herself in what seems like real life, though the boundary feels thin. The party she's hosting is already in full swing, but nothing goes smoothly. Gareth is sobbing on the floor over losing his cat, Sprinkles, a black-and-white cat with purple spots that Aphmau knows all too well—because she was that cat for a day, transformed by a "dumb magic cat." She decides to keep that humiliating experience to herself, including the flea shampoo she had to use.
