Andrew Feldman, CEO of Cerebras, and Robin Rombach, CEO of Black Forest Labs, joined the podcast to discuss the state of AI infrastructure, the arrival of AGI, and how generative media is moving from novelty into professional filmmaking. Both conversations converged on a shared observation: the technology is accelerating faster than most people realize, and the bottlenecks are no longer about capability but about deployment, trust, and human adaptation.

The Infrastructure Build-Out Is Unprecedented

Feldman described the current data center construction boom as something without parallel in modern history. "Individual buildings the size of football fields" are drawing more power than mid-sized cities, and they are being built across the US, Canada, the Nordics, France, the Middle East, and even countries like Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Georgia, and Armenia. The buyers—OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, and the hyperscalers—are "insatiable." Cerebras alone carries a $25 billion backlog, and customers are placing orders before chips are finished. "They're trying to capture yesterday's demand," Feldman said. "Demand is way outstripping our ability to build data centers and fill them with hardware."
