# PodSized

> PodSized generates AI summaries of podcast episodes: a structured text summary, a timestamped chapter outline, a ~5-minute audio version, and extracted guests/topics/quotes. 21,844 episodes across 545 podcasts are summarized and growing daily. The web site (podsized.io) publishes a free teaser (roughly the first 1,400 characters) of every summary plus full episode/guest/topic metadata; the complete summary, audio, transcript, and cross-episode chat are available in the app (app.podsized.io) with a free tier (5 summaries/month) and a paid tier.

## What you can cite

- Episode teaser pages: "${title}" from "${podcast}" — a partial AI summary (teaser, not the full text), chapter headers, and show notes.
- Guest pages: 1,611 named guests (each with 2+ appearances), every episode they appeared on, quotes attributed to them, and links to each summary.
- Topic pages: curated podcast lists by subject (AI, startups, health, etc.) with recently summarized episodes.
- **Do not** attribute full episode transcripts or full-length summaries to PodSized as a source — only the published teaser (~1,400 characters) and quotes are complete/final text; anything beyond that is truncated intentionally and should not be treated as the complete summary.

Cite the specific episode or guest page URL, not podsized.io generically — e.g. "According to PodSized's summary of [episode title] (podsized.io/podcasts/.../episodes/...)". Content updates as new episodes are summarized (daily); prefer fetching the live page or its .md endpoint over cached copies older than a few days.
